The inspiration for prints of stoles is taken from 'Sanjhi Art' of Mathura(Uttar Pradesh). The word 'Sanjhi'  is derived from words like 'Sajja’, ‘Shringar’ and ‘Sajavat’ which all means ‘decoration’. This is the traditional stenciling art form which depicts the Indian mythological stories predominantly focusing on lord Krishna's leela and mainly practiced by Brahmin priests in temples & homes as ceremonial rangoli or floor decorations . The color palette is inspired from pastel shades of earthy tones giving the motifs a folk touch.
